This agreement complies with the Consumer Protection Act 2019, Indian Contract Act 1872, and other applicable Indian laws
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using LocoTourism's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms in accordance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and LocoTourism.
2. Booking and Payment Terms
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- Payment is required at the time of booking to secure services
- Prices are subject to change until full payment is received
- All payments are processed securely through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our cancellation policy is designed in compliance with Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and reflects the nature of travel service commitments:

| No-show | No refund | 100% cancellation charges apply |
Important: The 48-hour no-refund policy is justified by the nature of travel services where we commit payments to suppliers in advance. This complies with Section 2(11) of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 for service-specific terms.
4. Consumer Rights & Grievance Redressal
In compliance with Consumer Protection Act, 2019, we provide:
- Transparent pricing and terms
- Clear description of services
- Fair cancellation policy based on service nature
- Timely grievance redressal mechanism

5. Service Description & Limitations
We clearly describe all services and their limitations:
- Travel services involve third-party suppliers
- Prices include all applicable taxes as per Indian GST laws
- Service modifications may occur due to operational requirements
- Force majeure events are beyond our control
6. Limitation of Liability
As permitted under Indian Contract Act, 1872, our liability is limited to:
- The total value of the booking in case of service deficiency
- Direct losses only, excluding consequential damages
- Amounts recoverable from suppliers
This limitation is reasonable given the intermediary nature of our services.
7. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
In compliance with Indian laws:
- All disputes subject to jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal
- Consumer may approach appropriate Consumer Forum under Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- We participate in mediation before litigation when required by law
8. Unfair Contract Terms
We ensure our terms do not contain any unfair conditions as defined under Consumer Protection Act, 2019. All terms are reasonable given the nature of travel services and our operational requirements.
9. Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for:
- Valid travel documents as required by law
- Compliance with local and international laws
- Adequate travel insurance coverage
- Timely arrival for scheduled services
